Curtis was raised in O’Fallon (Go Panthers!) after growing up as an Air Force kid. He met his wife, Shelly, through Faith Family Church, and together they are raising three boys who keep life full and fun.

After graduating from O’Fallon High School and the University of Illinois, Curtis never expected to return to the Metro East, but God had other plans. After coming to faith in Christ, he served as Youth Pastor at Faith Family for seven years before stepping into leadership at The Journey, where he eventually became Senior Pastor.

In 2023, God called Curtis back to Faith Family, now GardenCity, with a renewed vision: to build a diverse, gospel-centered church family that serves the entire Metro East. He is passionate about helping people follow Jesus and seeing lives flourish, believing that God’s people are called to make their communities better through their presence.`
