At GardenCity, we believe serving is one of the most joyful ways to join in what God is doing through the church. All of our serving teams make up what we call One Team, a united group of people using their time, energy, and gifts to serve others and point to Jesus. No matter your role or responsibilities, you are part of something bigger: one body, many parts, all under Christ as the head.

We also believe God has uniquely designed every person with gifts meant to bless others. That is why we created a simple way to explore how God has wired you and where you might thrive in serving. Through guided assessments and conversations, we come alongside you to help identify your strengths and passions, then partner with you to put them into practice

When we discover our gifts and step into them, serving becomes a joyful response to God’s grace. It is not a burden or a checklist, but a way of loving others well. We show up with faith, fun, and a sense of purpose, trusting that every act of service, seen or unseen, matters deeply. (Isaiah 6:1–13, James 1:27)

When we serve, we are not just completing tasks. We are participating in God’s ongoing story of renewal. Every act of service, seen or unseen, helps our community flourish and writes another chapter in God’s kingdom story.
